Lunar New Year celebrates Asian cultures through music, food, dance and tradition, with the addition of beloved Disney characters like Mulan and Mushu. Lunar New Year is celebrated at Disney California Adventure Park from late January through early February. Next up we’ll celebrate mid-January through early February 2021 .

How Magical can it Be?
A new show on the roll at Disney’s California Adventure features the Green Army Men from Toy Story. From under the bed in the upstairs bedroom of the Toy Story Midway Mania ride, come Andy’s army men, full-sized and looking for recruits. They march, they drum, and they teach any volunteers to be “real toy soldiers”. Even the important fact, “that toy army men have to hold perfectly still if any humans come into the room”.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!
An accelerated drop tower dark ride attraction at Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort. Based on the Marvel Comics characters, it depicts Rocket Raccoon recruiting guests to attempt to free the remaining Guardians of the Galaxy from display within the Collector's fortress. The attraction uses the same infrastructure and ride system as the previous attraction, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
